The HCMUD 537 Board of Directors would like to also reiterate for residents: streets are meant to be additional water conveyance methods when the amount of rainfall exceeds the storm drain and detention capacities. Residents should not drive into or through deep water, per the NOAA, TDEM, and FEMA guidance of “Turn Around, Don’t Drown”.
Due to the impending weather, GFL will reevaluate service pick-up come Tuesday.
Please do not leave trash cans and bags curbside, to avoid the storm system from clogging in the event of heavy rain fall. Stay safe.
